Besides Ishan, other Indian batsmen struggled to play big shots, but the opener once again displayed aggressive form. Pakistan had high hopes from spinner Usman Tariq, who bowled with a stop-arm spin in this match. While the Indian batsmen didn't face much trouble, they also didn't score many runs against him.

He failed to open his account. Bumrah then came in to bowl the second over of the innings, dismissing Saim Ayub (6) and captain Salman Ali Agha (4).
Usman Khan top-scored for Pakistan with 44 runs, while seven batsmen failed to reach double figures. For India, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, and Varun Chakravarthy took two wickets each, while Kuldeep Yadav and Tilak Varma took one wicket each.
