India in the final after defeating Australia

Australia has set a target of 265 runs for India in the semi-final match with the help of half-centuries from captain Steve Smith and Alex Carey. Australia won the toss and batted first and scored 264 runs in 49.3 overs with the help of Smith's 73 runs off 96 balls and Alex Carey's 61 runs off 57 balls. For India, fast bowler Mohammed Shami took the maximum three wickets, while Varun Chakraborty and Ravindra Jadeja got two wickets each.
